It was created by Mark Zuckerberg along with his companion Edward Saverin. It was until the year 2006 that Facebook opened to anyone 13 years or older and took-off expeditiously overtaking Myspace as the very popular social network in the world.

Facebook’s success can be attributed to its ability to appeal to users and businesses and its ability to interact with websites around the internet by offering a single login that works across multiple sites. Facebook allows people to share their interests, maintain a friend list, choose privacy concerns, upload and share photos with the world, helps in maintaining a photo album, allows its active users to join in groups or create various groups and more.

Today, Facebook has more than 2 billion active users all around the world. For young people, Facebook is their favorite destination as it helps them to personalize their profile. It allows people with profiles, list information about themselves such as, where they live, where their hometown is, where they work, where they study, mention their relationship status and more. Many people upload lots of information which is easily accessible to their friends and others.

Now, as the number of users on Facebook is increasing everyday there are some people around the world who are disabling their profiles due to various reasons such as, wanting to take a break.   2. Entered your registered email
  3. Enter all the necessary information like, name, account email and more
  4. By doing so, Facebook will register your request and will show you a review message

The alternative method is:

  1. Click on three dots on the top right corner of your Facebook page
  2. Click on the report option
  3. Then select report, or close this account and then continue
  4. This will take you to a page where you will select “recover my account”
  5. By doing so you will be logged out of your account and will take you through the steps to recover your account.
